I acquired my Zero-G ZBD Sprung Belay Plate Cotswold Outdoor in 2007.
The Zero-G ZBD Sprung Belay Plate is a normal slotted belay plate with spring to help keep the plate away from the brake carabiner. This is not essential, but it simplifies feeding and taking in rope. The spring fits into a circular groove in the bottom of the plate, and is crimped into place. There are shallow grooves in the top and bottom of the plate, perpendicular to the slots.
My Zero-G ZBD Sprung Belay Plate is 63 mm tall, 63 mm wide, and 41 mm thick. It weighs 81 g. One slot is 29 mm. long, the other 31 mm.
The top of this plate is etched with the Zero-G logo and "ZERO-G." It is stamped stamped with an "S" in a small circle and an "L" in a small circle.
