Camp

The Advanced base Camp has a spring to help keep the plate away from the brake carabiner. This is not essential, but it simplifies feeding and taking in rope. The spring fits in a circular groove in the base of the plate and crimped in place, although the crimp is not immediately apparent. There are shallow grooves in the top and bottom of the plate, perpendicular to the slots. This plate is essentially identical to the Advanced Base Camp.
