Ed Sira gave me this device a few years ago. I have no idea who made it, but it appears to have been made as a belay device. It has two parallel slots for twin rope belay, and a third slot for single rope. All slots are the same size. Whichever end is not in use makes a reasonable handle to hold on to. The device is steel so it will wear well, but it tends to get hot.
