Brew B.J. Ropewalker

The Brew B.J Ropewalker was a British ascender manufactured around 1980. The shell is 1.8-mm stainless steel formed into a U-shaped channel. The cam is cast aluminum, and so closely matches the Gibbs cam that I believe that one was used as a pattern. The axle pin is stainless steel and is secured by a thin spring wire. The end of the pin is tapered, and projects about 12 mm beyond the spring wire hole. Although this helps align the cam with the shell, I'd prefer to cut about 10 mm off the pin instead.
