The Petzl Pompe consists of three parts:
The idea is that you can rig a frog system then attach the bar to your chest ascender. When you stand, the pulleys give you a mechanical advantage and help lift your upper body. THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION SO DON"T TRY THIS WITHOUT INSTRUCTION!
Clearly I'm missing something here. Empty the junk from your cave pack or go on a diet instead, but get rid of the weight you are hauling and and you won't need this idea. Can someone explain why this idea shouldn't get the lemon award? The ascender is nicely done, but why?

Version B uses a Version G Petzl Ascension ascender instead of Version D.
