This is a copy of the Petzl Basic, but with much better workmanship than the Russian copy of the Petzl Croll. The cam teeth are very well made, and the mud hole is larger than Petzl's. The shell is stamped with reinforcing ribs. This is probably an adequate ascender, but I still prefer the quality of the original.
